Pace Bradshaw is Senior Vice President, Head of North America Government Affairs for Visa, where he is responsible for advancing Visa’s legislative, regulatory, and public policy priorities in the United States and Canada. He engages with key government and private sector stakeholders, including Congress, the Administration, state-level officials, Parliament, and clients, among others. Pace provides leadership over all of Visa’s U.S. federal and state lobbying activities and supports Visa’s advocacy throughout Canada. He is also a member of the North America Leadership Team, which provides strategic management on Visa’s North America business.
Pace has extensive experience working on consumer finance, payments, technology and business issues affecting corporations. Before joining Visa in 2013, Pace was Vice President at the Consumer Bankers Association (CBA) where he was responsible for Congressional affairs and represented the retail banking industry before Congress. Prior to CBA, Pace worked for the Mortgage Bankers Association as a Director of Legislative Affairs where he helped represent the mortgage industry before Congress during the financial crisis, playing an important role in shaping legislation impacting the industry. Early in his career, Pace worked on Capitol Hill in the office of former Senator John Sununu of New Hampshire.
Pace graduated from St. Joseph’s University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and grew up in Bethesda, Maryland, where he now resides with his wife Kelly and their three daughters Addison, Millie Grace, and Reagan.
