Reporting directly to the CEO, the CFO plays a pivotal role in advancing our mission and setting direction. As a strategic financial leader, the CFO oversees the comprehensive financial landscape of the Credit Union, including direct oversight of accounting, quality control, asset-liability-management, risk management, and budgeting. The CFO actively contributes to short and long-term strategic direction and collaborates with others to effectively execute strategies, programs, and processes that help the credit union meet business objectives. By actively managing investments, overseeing risk, and ensuring analysis and compliance, the CFO safeguards the financial stability that underpins our members' trust. A strong working knowledge of GAAP is required. The CFO ensures compliance with regulations and legal requirements for the reporting and management of all financial activities. The CFO is responsible for the preparation of the annual budget, financial reports, call reports, and financial analysis. This position requires initiative, candid communication, strategic vision, and the ability to execute.

Our Ideal Candidate: is an experienced credit union financial leader with a passion for learning and adapting to changing economic conditions. You are a great fit if you:
• Hold a B.A. degree in accounting, finance, or a related field, with a preference for professional certification (CPA) and/or graduate degree.
• Have 5-10 years of progressive responsibility, preferably in credit union or bank with familiarity with industry compliance and regulatory requirements.
• Possess excellent analytical skills with meticulous attention to detail and a deadline-oriented mindset. Analyzing data for trends, forecasts, budgets, and staffing levels aligns with our vision for this role, making it a crucial aspect of the preferred skill set.
• Have experience delivering results through teams and the ability to develop organizational leaders.
• Are comfortable operating at all levels of the organization. You like staying connected to details, verifying frequently with curiosity and healthy skepticism when needed.
• Have a desire for career advancement and seek to play a key role in the credit unions long-term succession planning.

Compensation: $124,942.87 - $208,238.12 annual
