Valley First Credit Union ($1B, Modesto, CA) is seeking its next Vice President of Technology. The Vice President of Technology will be pivotal in leading the strategy and modernization of the Technology Department for our dynamic credit union. This role will oversee and manage the Information Technology function, including developing a future proof roadmap for digital transformation, operations/core, information security/cybersecurity, network and helpdesk, user experience (UX), data analytics, project management, software development, and related vendor relationships. This leader will foster exceptional employee growth and development, working collaboratively with the team and stakeholders enterprise-wide.

In addition to setting objectives and strategies for the Technology department, this position is responsible for driving innovation and digital transformation, aligning technology with Valley First’s strategic priorities, monitoring and analyzing technology trends, ensuring the stability of the Credit Union’s systems, and enhancing the efficiency of the Credit Union’s infrastructure, automation, and technology integration.

Ready to make this move? Send your resume or link to your LinkedIn profile, highlighting a minimum of 3-5 years of experience leading, planning, and maintaining technology innovation and strategy for credit unions larger than $500 million in assets. At least three years must have been in a leadership position.

A bachelor’s degree in computer sciences, information systems, business, or any other related discipline is required. A master’s degree is preferred. Computer and network certifications A+ and Network+ are preferred. Industry security certification (e.g., CISSP, CISM, GIAC, CISA, etc.) is preferred.

 

The salary range is approximately $143,584, up to $239,307.60 annually.
