Established in 1935, the founding members of Miami Firefighters FCU were 28 firefighters who wanted to create a credit union that would “promote thrift among its members, by allowing them to accumulate their savings; and to create for them a source of credit.” From those humble beginnings nearly 90 years ago, Miami Firefighters FCU has grown to serve almost 6,000 firefighting professionals and their family members. Is This the Career for You?
We seek a detail-oriented Senior Accounting Clerk responsible for analyzing and reconciling general ledger accounts, maintaining accurate records, and resolving discrepancies. Key duties include delivering excellent customer service to credit union members, managing ACH and wire transactions, processing share draft exceptions, and handling accounts payable. By monitoring and reporting suspicious activity, you’ll support compliance with regulatory standards, including the Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) and OFAC. Proficiency in MS Office (Word and Excel), strong analytical skills, and effective communication abilities are essential. Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus.
