The acquisition of banks by credit unions and credit union mergers continues to be viewed as a strategic option. This course will review the fundamentals of how to acquire a bank, credit union, or branch of a bank or credit union. We will also cover the transactional and regulatory aspects of such a transaction, as well as the process and basic elements of completing a successful transaction.
