CEO Networking Groups

As CEO, the buck stops with you; responsibility for your credit union’s success rests solidly on your shoulders. Yet, it can be difficult to find trusted colleagues to turn to when you need to talk through a problem, find a solution, or simply bounce an idea off of someone.

CUES developed CEO Networking Groups to fill this gap. Join a group today, and benefit from the shared knowledge and camaraderie of connecting with other credit union CEOs.

How Do CEO Networking Groups Work?

  • Each group is kept small, consisting of 10-12 participates, so you can get to know each other and develop trusted relationships.
  • Participants join by invitation-only. They are carefully selected to be complementary to each other and from noncompeting institutions.
  • The schedule was designed to minimize the time out of the office, consisting of in-person quarterly meetings with one to two video calls in between.
  • In-person meetings are set in locations where candid and open discussions can take place, while maintaining confidentiality.
  • We’ll bring outside speakers in to broaden perspectives, including executives from other industries, business school faculty, and leading business thinkers.
  • Discussions are highly customized; we’ll select topics based on your group’s feedback and needs.
  • Each participant will have the opportunity to share case studies with each other, so they can speak directly to each other’s challenges, and learn from and advise each other.

The CUES CEO Networking Group is like nothing else that I have participated in over my 20+ years. The level of focused content, plus outside academicians and published authors of research to address common problems of the group is a truly unique approach. CUES has turned the education paradigm on its head. Most groups have a predetermined agenda or curriculum. CUES has successfully provided meaningful innovation to the educational space. Instead of searching for conferences and events that will provide insight to challenges or opportunities, CUES is asking the thought leadership group first and then tailoring the content for the group. The composition of the group is truly dynamic with representation from across the United States with different business models, as well as individual backgrounds. I enjoyed the group tremendously and look forward to participating in future groups.
